This spectacular blown glass vessel from the artist's "Foglio Series" is created using the challenging murrini technique. Over a number of weeks Patchen uses both hot and cold glassworking processes to create hundreds of highly patterned glass tiles, then carefully composes them into a mosaic. He then fuses them together to construct a
