Chrysocolla Points with Azurite / 2-4" AVG - 1 LB. LOT Valentine's Day Crystal Cobalt Calcite Tower PointsQuantity: 1 pound Average size range: 2 to 4 inches Chrysocolla forms when copper ore oxidizes and incorporates varying amounts of silica while growing. The amount of silica affects both the color, which can range from deep navy blue through teal and green, and the hardness of the resulting stone. Bright blue chrysocolla is a popular color replacement for turquoise in jewelry. These chrysocolla towers also contain azurite, another copper based mineral.
