They are surprisingly hard to find, but we persevered! The 12cm (4 5 8") toki (adze) is beautifully carved. It has a manaia head engraved into the top surface, with a native NZ paua shell eye. It could be worn with the manaia facing out, or the plain back facing out. The toki is a symbol
