(Victorian) Thomas Murrey. Cookery for Invalids Black Sea But more than offering eyeCloth backed chromolithograph boards. NY: White, Stokes & Allen, 1887. A lovely volume in a series of 10 little cookbooks by Thomas Murrey. Here, Murrey provides recipes for sick patients, like arrow root gruel, mutton broth, eggnog with brandy, wine whey, steamed milk, Champagne frappe (!), stewed tripe with oysters, and dry toast. Minor rubbing to boards, else very good. (5)
