We vinify this cru from 1985 and this is one of the two oldest vineyards of ours planted in 1946 on the central crest of Cannubi hill

tannic but flush with foresty fruit

The ample marri blossom and dry conditions meant both bird and disease pressures were low

The grapes are de-stemmed and crushed and the cap held down during the ferment to create a gentle infusion

This wine is classic cool climate shiraz

Expressive aromas of floral, fruity and mineral accents. Very elegant taste with freshness and character in the expressive, yet refined texture. Very interesting wine with great finesse and a delightful rich mineral aftertaste. Lovely on its own or as a companion with fine red meat, extra long ripened ham or stuffed red peppers. Serving temp.: 16C.
