AdamsWein, Spatburgunder Heerweg (1er Cru), 2023 Freisa and Friends Bouchères is a hidden gem

Bouchères is a hidden gem among Meursault's premier crus: a high-altitude

lean and savory

fermented with natural yeasts

The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled with earth-laced flavors of boysenberries and black tea

and this Hautes-Cotes de Beaune is everyday red Burgundy done right

AdamsWein, Spatburgunder Heerweg (1er Cru), 2023 Freisa and Friends Bouchères is a hidden gemThis is Pinot Noir (Spatburgunder) from Heerweg, a west facing, limestone rich site in Ingelheim classified at the 1er Cru level, and it is Simone Adams's flagship red. She farms biodynamically in northern Rheinhessen and ferments with whole clusters, chasing perfume and precision over power. Bottled with minimal intervention, it shows the transparency and grip that make top German Pinot so compelling.
