This is a heavy duty Cast Iron stand featureing an adjustable height range of 28 to 36 inches. The 2 diameter steel is solid and stable. They even included storage space for two grinding wheels and an extra tray for miscellaneous items. The steel top plate measures 12 x 9 1 4 with 1 2 wide slots for mounting the grinder.
